Anti Ragging Cell

The institution follows a strict policy of zero tolerance towards ragging. The students are made aware of this through notices, circulars and interaction in classrooms. Every year college has the anti-ragging cell the copy of which is send to the collector, police department and other higher authorities. Several copies of the Anti-ragging cell is displayed in the college notice boards and in canteen along with the phone numbers of its members so that any student having any problem should feel free to talk with the member. However our college has not received any case of ragging till date from the date of inception which speaks volume about the conduct of the students and the decorum maintained in the campus. On the contrary the seniors celebrate the welcome by giving party to the first year students.

Anti Sexual Harassment Cell

For the effective enforcement of the basic human right of gender equality and guarantee against harassment and abuse Pragati College has constituted Anti Sexual Harassment Cell

Carrier Guidance & Placement Cell

Carrier Guidance & Placement Cell works for the all round development of students. College provides various lectures and training for UGC–NET by experienced teachers. Guidance for various competitive examinations is also provided by experts. The cell maintains professional relations with representatives of industry. The HR managers of various companies are invited to the college campus to interact with the students. The students of various departments of the college are taken for industry related visits from time to time to keep them acquainted with the latest developments in the economy.

Research Cell

The institutions have a research committee to monitor and address the issues of research. The college recognizes the importance of research for the academic development of the students as well as faculty. The institution has well qualified faculties to monitor and address the present issues of research. The college has a research committee comprising of convener who motivates the staff to publish their research articles in referred international and national journals. The committee also encourages the staff to take research projects from various funding agencies like CGCOST.

Science Club

The Pragati College Science Club is the student's club with teacher mentors. All students of the college, from science background can be the member of the club. The objective of the club is to generate awareness and inculcate a scientific attitude within the students.

Community Service Club

Works to identify the needs and problems of community and to inculcate a sense of responsibility and competence in students.

Cultural Communities

The committee organizes various activities that depict not only Chhattisgarh and Indian culture but cross cutting issues also.

Discipline

The Discipline committee is established for maintaining the discipline in the college. The committee ensures that students follow the code of conduct.

Eco Club

Eco club encourage activities related with generating environmental awareness among students Activities such as, exhibition, plantation, poster making, nukkad natak are organized.

Feedback Cell

Feedback cell was established with an aim of getting inputs from students and parents on teaching, learning and evaluation.

UGC Cell

UGC Cell aims at promoting quality education by our institution Research cell was established to promote research culture in college by organizing various research oriented workshops, seminars, conferences, guest lecturers etc.
